A post full of brackets and fontrum

I was confronted (well, by proxy) with a subtle (maybe even arrogant, if *ahem* lineage is taken into consideration) display of intolerance today.

It's more than (just a little) embarrassing.

It's disappointing.


It's actually (somewhat) humbling (considering I may have been on the path to sharing this intolerance, had I not taken a few steps back to ask a few critical questions). 

It's troubling. 

I can only assume it stems from ignorance, close-mindedness (at the extreme end of the spectrum, maybe even a bit of brainwashing?), and a general  lack of critical thinking. 

I can only hope (pray?) that the attitude of one person is not generalized to a larger population.

Unfortunately, I know better (sigh).
